Throwback to Spring 2020 – when we were the featured Chorus Of The Month in our Sweet Adelines Region 1 “Tags & Swipes” newsletter (page 23). The article started with such innocent anticipation: “The year 2020 is off to a great start…” Little did we know that greatness in 2020 would be measured by how we would meet previously unimaginable challenges to keep the music playing. Now, our enthusiasm is stronger than ever, and we’re looking forward once again to a great year (no jinxing this time!). This retro issue of Tags & Swipes (from the “Before Times”!) presented every chorus in our region and provides a glimpse into what makes Region 1 so spirited and resilient.
